The Future Technology of Digital Marketing

    In digital marketing, I learned about different tactics and strategies that help brands expand their brand awareness and increase their revenue. Digital marketing is one of the most important parts of marketing in a company, which is why brands are spending most of their budget and time on it. I feel like mobile innovation is changing the marketing industry, and I was most surprised about influencer marketing. Lastly, I want to expand my knowledge of social media strategy.

Mobile Innovation

 A technology I believe will change marketing is mobile innovations. Mobile Innovations is providing an easier and more productive way for brands to reach out to consumers and different markets. These factors can lead to more opportunities around the industry. It also allows a brand to improve productivity, build brand awareness, and better-quality content for their customers. With mobile innovations, consumers can make faster purchases and helps brands improve their services.

Influencer Marketing

 The technology I was most surprised about was influencer marketing. I didn’t think that so much went into the process. Brands need to define their audience, find the right influencers, the influencers need to engage, and take action. The only factor that didn’t convince me as a digital marketer is that the influencers are promoting products and not be giving their honest opinion to their viewers. Many influencers will promote to receive the following and money from the brand. I didn’t expect them to make up to $1,000 per post, depending on how many followers they have.  

Social Media Strategy

   Social media strategies are one of the most efficient marketing tactics nowadays. I am in control of social media at my current position, but I am interested in learning more about it. Social media strategy helps companies increase exposure to generate more sales, traffic, and leads, reduces marketing costs, and growing the client base by developing loyal consumers. Social media strategies are changing the way consumers engage with businesses and improving lifetime spans for brands.

  All of these factors are becoming more essential elements to the marketing industry as years pass, and as technology grows. They are helping brands generate better revenues, which provides them with significant advantages in higher incomes and a bigger target audience. Learning more about these subjects allowed me to expand my knowledge in each topic, which made me think and become a better marketer overall.
