First, they need to highlight the project’s conclusions. Highlighting the discoveries for the project can make it easier for the audience to understand the concept, especially when it involves math. (Links to an external site.) Making sure the inferences are highlighted so that the audience is not confused with objectives, final decisions, and scopes, which are some of the essential parts of the presentation. Pick one subject and stick to it, do not branch out into different sessions since it might confuse the audience. Second, use images and visuals that will make your presentation more memorable. In presentations, a lot of graphs, charts, and numbers can make it boring. Light it up with visuals that will make the information more engaging and interesting. (Links to an external site.) Every time a slide will involve a calculation, think about and add a relatable image to support and add clarity to the message you are trying to deliver.

It is imperative to make the presentation as interactive as possible for the audience to easily remember your presentation. Making your data into a story can keep the audience wanting more. The key element is for them to walk away and not forget about the message you provide them with. Asking questions and using visuals throughout the presentation will help the audience remember your key points and highlights. (Links to an external site.) Fresh visuals give your audience visual clues about the data that is being presented. Another important tip is not to forget to mention the references at the end of the presentation. References are important elements that let the audience know where the information you are providing them came from and that it holds truth. Make sure the references are clear and reasonable for the audience or potential client.
